you and i,
we'll create beautiful oxymorons
with our caffeine and sleeping pills
drawing sharpie flowers on our wrists
and watching the moon set amidst
bleary morning twilight fog.

we'll speak between-the-lines
and blow wobbling colourful bubbles
into the air. the wind will play
with our too-long hair and syrupy skin,
and you'll hold my hand
so i don't get lost in the
rhythm of our heartbeats.

and one day we'll wave goodbye
to black and white reality
and jump off the edge of the earth.
greyscale trivialities will drip from our
noses, and our ears will rush with emptiness.
we'll fall into the skies and somersault
through rainbows.

we don't care about the pots of gold.

live. works well enough as a title, hon. it's simple and it fits.
besides, the poem more than speaks for itself. =]

Although I don't understand what you mean by 'syrupy skin' I do love this poem and its modern references rather than when people try and set it as a period drama. You can relate to it more, good job =)
:iconebony-rainstorm:
i think this is possibly the best discription of you ever
:iconinsideruby:
thankya honey =]
it's actually a relatively happy poem, for once! =]
